Wake up Wednesday

Well I ended up a half an hour before I had to be. So I am going to squander it on hot creamy coffee. I do one third of my cup in cream. I use the powdered type, so today it is French vanilla.

I will wish you have as nummy a coffee as I have.

Religion and holidays

Not sure if it has come up here yet, but I am pagan. As such we celebrate Yule. So I am not going to be doing much here this week as I plan on spending the holiday enjoying my family. Next week I should be back on track. I may be posting an announcement this week as the next Creatives Rising E-Zine is coming up soon. Once I have the full information I will post it. Otherwise, Happy Holidays to you and yours… Whichever holiday you celebrate.

Thursday reviews

Emily’s book of the Strange by Rob Reger

This is wonderfully illustrated. It’s a cute little goth story based upon the illustration. I truly enjoyed it.

I wanted to note that I set up the Monday poetry post to schedule and thought that it posted. Apparently the scheduling of posts are not working right for my WordPress. It may cause some hiccups in my timeline. I hope to continue with the posts during the week. Just a reminder I will not be posting next week due to the holiday. I will be back the Monday after Thanksgiving with more poetry. And I will be doing another post on world building tomorrow.

Ok I know that today was supposed to be teaser Tuesday. Only problem is that I have been sick for three days… That stupid weather change sniffles thing. I have been trying to keep up with everything but Serena’s nano novel has suffered. We are passed the 10k mark… But then it kinda got back burner treatment because of the sick. I refuse to post the same teasers. I respect you too much for that. I do have the rest of the week. And Teaser Tuesday may not be a every week thing. I will attempt to at least update you on how the writing is going, even if I can’t do a teaser. On that note, Spilled verse is coming along. I already have six or seven poems out of the seventy needed(all of the volumes I publish have at least seventy poems).

All of the links are listed on my post Links updated. I post them every so often as to bump them up on my blog.

Thanksgiving week I will not be posting. Family time, not internet time and all of that. Hopefully you all have a miraculous holiday.

Oh and be sure to check out my second world building post on Friday.

That time of the year

This is the hard time for me to keep up with my blog. So I apologize. Between sick, which seems to be a yearly thing, and birthdays… February and March are busy months for me. I am also working out the details for publishing another poetry volume (Soul Door), a novel as Serena (Rust, Gore, And the Junkyard Zombie) and I have a poem that I submitted to a new E-zine (Creatives Rising)

that is releasing soon. I am also still writing more poetry and the next novel. I will be updating this blog as I can, and I promise that I will post a couple more poems here by the end of the week. Still, Please have patience with my erratic updates.

Preparing New Year goals

I Know it seems early to consider my goals for the new year…but I am not one who does well with “new years” goals. I do have a lot of changes coming for 2018. I have been asked to assist my sister doing a new blog/newsletter that we may try to turn into magazine later. It will be posting weekly(thankfully I am not the only blogger on this so the schedule should be able to be depended on)

Spiritual Gardening with the Mindful Faeries

Life is also settling down for me some, so I am hoping to update this blog at least twice a month as well as doing that.
I am well over half done with Rust, Gore, and the Junkyard Zombie…and the poetry volume Word Petals. So there will be some book releases that can be expected from both Serena and I. Serena has a couple of stories she is working on, and a couple of stories planned. I have two children’s books in the works as well as my poetry volumes.
This time of year tends me towards self doubt and introspection, as it does many of us. So please be patient with me and I will hopefully be able to give you more to ponder in the days ahead.
In the meantime, Go check out the Spiritual Garden and be prepared for the Mindful Faeries to help your knowledge grow!
